Hello,
Due to changing PC's & bad back-up management I'm trying to revive the version 3.1 I purchased way back in 2008.
I have the ShareIt invoice, the Product Key, though not the right software version (=3.1), for it seems the product key isn't valid for the latest version.

Is there a way to download it again in order to request and obtain an new Activation Key?

h

There is at this time no way to get working Win7 with airmail and mscan meteo (v3.30r) controlled by the pactor- modem.

Also this (old) links don't containes a solution for it:
http://mscan.com/mscan_forum/index.php?topic=251.0

http://mscan.com/mscan_forum/index.php?topic=85.0

The only way to use meteo again was to create a seperate partition on the pc and install the old xp added for this purpose only!
Under this constellation now it works well as before (doesn't matter which firmware or drivers-versions are used...).
Maybe someone else will try it...

If you are already using v3.2+ then perhaps you make one of the other mistakes I mention there, like using the wrong port or using the port with other software, thus leaving it unavailable for Mscan Meteo. There is always the chance the latest SCS software broke compatibility with Mscan Meteo (they unfortunately have done that several times in the past), but then the problem would only have started after you upgraded their software. As you say, it worked before so go over all your changes and exclude them one-by-one. Perhaps someone else on the forum has any pointers for you as well.

I would not change your profile name, there is no need for anonymity here.

@Mike: Sorry that I was not able to find this topic in the forum before (were I yet was looking before!) and set a new poll.

I have read the topic you mentioned now - really, it sounds exactly like my problem.
But - where is the solution? I don't understand - Sorry again for it ...

I have installed your newest MSCAN Version 3.3 (not beta) and the firmware- version 4.0 on the SCS- Modem (the 4.0- version was on the modem for years before, where it worked well with the older version of MSCAN and XP).
But it does'nt work.

What's to do? - it would be sad not to use your fine programm in the future.

By the way: After your verify of my licence, can I set back my clear name to my username again?

@Volker: your problem sounded familiar, did you check the forum before you posted this topic? This topic seems to describe your problem and offers a solution.
