I just explained to you it has auto start. Best you start by reading the Help to learn how the program works. Then if you have any questions that are not answered in the Help, or on this forum, feel free to come back.

When properly configured, the timer will only set the receiver to the correct frequency, select FAX mode and wait for a fax start tone. It will not start reception if you missed the start tone for some reason (too late, no reception, wrong frequency etc.).

Seems that an expensive piece of software should have auto start capability. No one at sea wants to sit by their SSB all day. Is such a function under development?

Have installed activated Mscan. Only problem I've encountered is that
the timer function does not initiated a fax. It DOES change the freqs
on time, so interface and receiver functions are properly configured.
What file is missing/corrupt etc. that preventsthe auto start?

I do not want to upgrade as when I purchased this Mscan it cost £160 so why should I have to pay again. I just want to reactivate my original !!

Just wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to insert a snapshot of the recieved incoming video into my outgoing screen. I am using Version 3.21. If possible, please leave instructions on how to do so.

Thanks,
Manny

You should not lock your topic if you want someone to reply, unless it means you already figured this out yourself? It's really easy, simply follow instructions on screen.

Hi Mike, my new lap top is an Acer & I have not installed the Mscan Meteo on it. The Mscan Meteo is a 3.031. On startup I get the normal programme with the box  asking for product code which I put in and I cant get any further as it requires the Activation Key.

Regards

John
